License Details and User Mapping

This page explains how administrators can view license usage details and see which users are mapped to each license type in Revvy DevOps.

Overview

When a new user is created in Revvy, a license is automatically assigned. By default, all new users receive a System Administrator license. Administrators can view how licenses are consumed and which users are mapped to specific license types (FullAccess or ReadAccess).

Steps to View License Details

  1. Navigate to the Licenses tab in the Global Console.

  2. Click on the license type you want to inspect (e.g., FullAccess).

  3. The License Details page displays:

    • Application (e.g., DevOps)

    • Total licenses available

    • User mapping list, including:

      • User name

      • Email address

      • Group assignment (e.g., SystemAdministrator, Release Manager)

Example

If you click on FullAccess, you may see something like:

  • Total Available: 1000

  • Users assigned: 1

  • List of users, including their email and group membership.

Best Practices

  • Review usage regularly → Ensure only active team members consume licenses.

  • Group alignment → Confirm that users are placed in the correct group (SystemAdministrator, Release Manager, QA Team, etc.).

  • License reclamation → If a user leaves, delete their account to automatically free up their license.
