Deleting a Connection
This page explains how to delete an existing Salesforce connection from Revvy. Deleting a connection permanently removes the link between Revvy and that Salesforce org.
Overview
Connections represent the Salesforce orgs (Production or Sandbox) integrated with Revvy. If an org is no longer in use, or you need to clean up old test environments, you can delete the connection.
Once deleted, Revvy will no longer have access to that Salesforce org. Any DevOps activities (metadata retrieval, commits, deployments, pipelines) tied to that connection will stop working.
Steps to Delete a Connection
Navigate to Connections in the sidebar.
Locate the connection you want to remove.
Click the options menu (three dots) on the right-hand side.
Select Delete Connection.
Confirm the deletion when prompted.
The connection will be permanently removed from Revvy.
Important Notes
Deleting a connection cannot be undone. To reconnect the same Salesforce org, you’ll need to create a new connection and go through OAuth login again.
Any pipelines or configurations that used the deleted connection will need to be reconfigured.
Best Practices
Regularly audit connections and delete unused ones to reduce clutter and maintain security.
Use clear connection names so it’s easy to identify which ones are safe to delete.
Before deleting a Production org connection, confirm with your team to avoid disrupting ongoing DevOps work.
